Even though skin care is our business, we rather you have as much details as possible so you can feel confident to buy from us or give you the information you need to not buy from us, if our products don't match your needs. We never want anyone to regret buying from us. 

Our rating system is based on each category. For examples cleansers will be rated in comparison to each other when you see the 1-5 ratings. We do this so you can make the best decision out of that specific product category.

Anti-Aging star rating is 1 to 5 stars (5 being the best). 

We use ingredients that have been known to have anti-aging properties, and our anti-aging ratings are based on the ingredients we use and their known benefits, not because we are making a claim. We find this very important to state because in a world competing to increase their sales and increase their profit, they unfortunately use "Hero pitches" that are rather unrealistic and creates false hopes, because everyone responds different to a product. Everyone has different health conditions and lifestyles that plays a key role in how their skin responds to a product. Even with clinical studies, we still wouldn't make claims simply because we never want to give a false hope to client who has already been let down by other companies. So, we are simply rating the ingredients used in the products.

Aroma Rating is 1 to 5 (5 being the strongest and noticeable).

THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT TO US! We know how much aromas can irritate someone and their skin sensitivities. This rating system allows you to determine if something is in the right aroma strength for your preference. We ask that you read ingredient lists because sometimes an aroma rating isn't based on added essential oils or natural fragrances but rather because some of ingredients create pungent smells such as Tea Tree Oil, Camphor, Mint, Rosemary, etc. So before buying a product please always read our ingredient lists to make a final decision.

Coating Rating is 1 to 5 (5 being the strongest and noticeable).

Prior to creating our rating system, we often got asked how much coating a product left on the skin. We realized this was a key question people cared about and we want our clients to know this, in case, there is a particular degree of coating they prefer in their skin care routine. So, you can confidently buy knowing the level of coating you will experience from a particular product.

Coating is the amount of film left on the skin after the product has been absorbed. Products for oily skin types leaves a film coating in a rating of 0-to-1, while dry skin types would leave a film layer of 3-to-5. A 5 rating would leave a thicker film that keeps your skin feeling hydrated throughout the day but not excessive or tacky or leaving a greasy look.

Vegan or Not Vegan

We have switched over 98% of our company to vegan formulas. This was huge mass reformulation process to achieve this. However we have around 4 products that do contain animal byproducts but we clearly that on the product page which product is vegan or not vegan, so our vegan shoppers do not buy that goes against their beliefs. 

 

Claims

We would also like to mention that we do vast research of the properties of the ingredients we use, but by no means do we make any claims of healing, treating, diagnosing, curing or preventing. We can only tell you why we choose the ingredients that we do, but we make zero claims for our products. We want to offer you full transparency, we prefer to be honest and you make a conscientious decision that best suits you and your personal life beliefs, because skin care is a personal form of health care, mental care, confidence care and it is an exchange of trust between you and us.
